Thrilled that my pieces “Baba’s Goldmine” and “Iblis Illusion” will be part of the ARTifact Community Arts Showcase this year!

The Process: [EXPOSED] is a virtual art exhibition incorporating photographic elements and the exploration of various digital processes in a new virtual world. Original artwork, film, and audio explore the idea of the artistic process vs. product to the viewers. The virtual concert features performances by Reid Moriarty, Jazz Hands for Autism artists Brandi Pollard and Starving Darling and many more. This annual event unites artists of all abilities with the sole purpose of showcasing the unique talents of the community and promoting the empowerment of all people through creative engagement.

Virtual Opening: Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 from 6-7pm PST

Location: Virtual Concert on YouTube, @ableartswork; Virtual Art Gallery: ableartsportfolios.org

Contact: Alexis Roundy, Exhibits Coordinator, aroundy@ableartswork.org, (509)987-2565

The ARTifact Community Arts Showcase is an annual tradition of Able ARTS Work. Beginning in 2014, with the first ever showcase held at ARTifact Forum & Gallery in Hawthorne, Able ARTS Work has built a unique art community that celebrates creatives not only across the South Bay but all of Southern California. This annual juried exhibition has grown and evolved through the years to create a fully accessible and inclusive showcase encompassing all arts disciplines. As we look back on the success of the past 6 years of the ARTifact Community Arts Showcase, we look to the future with excitement as the showcase transforms from our traditional format to an exciting virtual reinterpretation of this beloved community event.
