This is an interactive, online workshop that will be on Zoom.
All participants will be emailed a link to access the workshop 2 days prior to the event.

Connect to the long lineage of rug making and enjoy the methodical experience of knotting. Take chances in color and texture combinations with this tactile way to explore color theory. Create a luxurious fabric that can be applied in fine art, garments, home goods and other projects.

The primary techniques I will cover include:

• Modified larks head knotting

• Winding multiple yarn strands into a single ball

• Finishing a weaving

This workshop is great for stash busting and perfect for scrap yarns that are too short to use in another project. Worsted weight yarn is recommended, but any yarn can work for this technique. Fiber content, color scheme and textures are at your creative discretion.
